Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which is effective in cost reduction by improving productivity in imposition to cutting, and reducing excessive parts to be disposed of which are generated as a result of the cutting, by proposing a suitable method for obtaining a product of large size whose seam is inconspicuous (seamless) when a light scattering film is continuously manufactured. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the light scattering film is characterized in that when a photopolymerizable composition layer is irradiated with a light beam through a master plate for prescribing a pattern determining the direction and range of light scatter by the light scattering film and consisting of heights of refractive indexes on a film surface, a film type master plate with high flexibility which has a pattern varying in light-beam transmissivity by areas is formed to correspond to the pattern consisting of the heights of refractive indexes is used as the master plate.
