SOLUTION: This elastic fiber composed of a polyurethane polymer is characterized by containing a one side-hindered phenol compound having a one side-hindered hydroxyphenyl group and a mol. wt. of ≥ about 300, and at least one chlorine deterioration-preventing agent selected from ZnO, metal-based solid solutions containing ZnO, and metal compound oxides containing ZnO.
