Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical depilation apparatus having a small-sized and compact mechanism and simply depilating a wide area at a high speed. SOLUTION: A scanning unit 4 is disposed with a detection light 5, a detector 6, a condenser lens 7, a light emission device 8, and a driving magnet 9. The light emission device 8 is provided for removing the hair and optical beams are condensed by the condenser lens 7 and illuminated to pores. The detector 5 and the light emission device 8 attached to the scanning unit 4 form a pair with a mutual spaced at a predetermined interval and integrally move in a moving direction 1 and a moving direction 2 while retaining the interval.
