PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve defects that as a thick-walled cap is excellent in massive feeling, a feeling of premium can be given to the cap, but sealing performance is inferior as a gap is generated when it is fitted to a container body or the like, and an engagement to the outer face of an opening neck part of the container body tends to become imperfect, to appropriately perform fitting and removing of the cap to a part to be fitted such as the opening neck part of the container body, and to improve freedom on design and freedom of selection of the stored content. SOLUTION: The peripheral wall 12 of the cap is formed by inner and outer double walls by fitting an outer peripheral wall 12b onto an outer face of an inner peripheral wall 12a. An elastic ring 21 is tightly fitted in the peripheral wall, and the inner face of the elastic ring is partly exposed to the inner face of the peripheral wall 12. A second engaging projection 27 is horizontally provided to the inner face of the exposed part by projecting it to the inside of the peripheral wall 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
