Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of reducing an amount of post-measuring grains which are, mixed after measuring the water content by a water content sensor in the grains obtained by harvesting operation, and capable of reducing the formation of the measured grains crushed by the water content sensor as far as possible when measuring the water content. SOLUTION: This combine harvester 201 has the water content sensor 35 and a controller 100. The controller 100 is constituted as follows: the sensor 35 is operated for a time shorter than a prescribed cycle when the water content of the grains for each prescribed cycle is measured; and the water content of the grains in the prescribed cycle is calculated based on the measured value in the operation time of the water content sensor 35.
