Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control device which can control battery output in consideration of the durability of an input shaft to control the durability of the vehicle as the whole. SOLUTION: The vehicular control device comprises an engine, a power transmission shaft which transmits engine power to wheels, a motor which transmits the power to the engine via the power transmission shaft to start the engine, and a battery device which supply the electric power to the motor. The device is equipped with a remaining life estimating means (steps S12 to S13) of the power transmission shaft which estimates the remaining life of the power transmission shaft, and with an output increasing means (step S15) of the battery device which increases the output of the battery device when the remaining life of the power transmission shaft estimated by the remaining life estimating means of the power transmission shaft becomes less than a previously set given value.
