Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of solving a problem of deteriorated image quality due to the effect of noise on an analog circuit consequent on greater power consumption variations if effective data and ineffective data are intermingled for digital processing such as zoom processing in a camera system or the like wherein downsizing of a board and an on-chip element for the analog circuit are on progress. SOLUTION: A video signal processing circuit disclosed herein includes: a video signal processing section 11 for generating video data on the basis of a received video signal; a line memory 12 for temporarily storing the video data from the video signal processing section 11 by each line and providing an output while selecting the data into effective data and ineffective data; a logic section 15 for applying prescribed digital processing such as zoom processing to the video data and providing an output of the resulting data; an output pad 16 for externally outputting the video data from the logic section 15; and a data replacement section A1 for replacing video data for an invalid period into dummy data at an input to or an output from the logic section 15. Thus, the image processing circuit suppresses variations in the power consumption, reduces the noise by uniformizing the power, and prevents image quality deterioration.
