Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power supply for supplying power to a load in which a load voltage and a system voltage can be maintained and managed, and recovery charging for prolonging the lifetime of a storage battery for use in maintenance and management can be carried out effectively. SOLUTION: The power supply comprises a full-bridge converter 4 and a full-bridge inverter 5 having arms 3a to 3c composed of a switching element 1 and a diode 2, a capacitor 6 connected in parallel with the arms 3a to 3c, a series transformer 9, a main circuit control section 10 for controlling the full-bridge converter 4 and the full-bridge inverter 5, a voltage stabilizer 12 having a power storage means 11 performing charging and discharging depending on an up/down voltage variation of an AC power supply 7, and a converter reverse current prevention control section 13 as a recovery charging control means performing the recovery charging of a storage battery 11a only by superfluous power for the load wherein the load voltage and the system voltage are maintained and managed and the recovery charging is performed efficiently and effectively.
