Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller which can be reduced in cost without requiring skill for mounting work to a core metal. SOLUTION: The conductive roller is comprised of the core metal 1, an elastic layer 2, and low friction force coating layer 3, in which a thermally shrinkable semiconductive tube 4 of an expanded diameter and of ≤50°in JIS-A hardness is fitted and can be brought into tight contact with the core metal 1 by the uniform work of causing thermal shrinkage of the tube by a heat source, such as a dryer, thereby the conductive roller can be provided at a cost of about 1/10 that of the conventional product.
