Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt which does not cause density unevenness and dotty defect even in high speed printing and is wide in an application range of an apparatus. SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer belt has carbon black dispersed therein, has an absolute difference value of ≤0.2 (Log Ω/square) between the common logarithmic value of the surface resistivity after 10 seconds of voltage application and the common logarithmic value of the surface resistivity after 30 seconds and a Young's modulus of ≥3,500 MPa, and the image forming apparatus equipped with the intermediate transfer belt is also provided.
