Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor which can restore the thermal deterioration of a dielectric film to the practical use level in the solid electrolytic capacitor in which a dielectric oxide film, a solid electrolyte layer and an anode drawing-out layer are sequentially formed on the front surface of an anode. SOLUTION: In the solid electrolytic capacitor which constitutes a capacitor element by sequentially forming the dielectric film, the solid electrolyte layer and the cathode drawing-out layer on the front surface of an anode, a phytic acid is included in the capacitor element. As the anode, it is preferred to contain a niobium as a principal component. Further, it is further preferred that a polyhydroxy saturated hydrocarbon is contained in the capacitor element. Furthermore, the polyhydroxy saturated hydrocarbon is preferred to contain at least one type selected from the group consisting of a polyhydroxy aldehyde, a polyhydroxy ketone, a polyhydroxy alcohol, a polyhydroxy ether and a polyhydroxy acid and its salt, and their homologs, a derivative and a polymer.
