Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flushing rod stopper easily installable on a door and smoothly operable. SOLUTION: The flushing rod stopper consists of its installation fittings 1, a movable component 2 and a spring 3. The installation fittings 1 are attached to the end face of one door 4 opposite the end 6 of the other door 5. The movable component 2 has a rotation regulator 7 and a stopper 8, and is rotatably mounted around a shaft 26 perpendicular to the installation fittings 1. The rotation regulator 7 is located at a space 10 opened between the two doors when they are closed, and becomes rotatable when one of the doors is opened. The stopper 8 rotates to a retired position from a position above the upper end of a flushing rod 9 at the back face of the end of the door 4. The spring 3 is provided between the installation fittings 1 and the movable component 2 to give momentum to the movable component 2 in a direction so that the stopper 8 may face the upper end of the self-locking rod 9. When the two doors are closed, the stopper 8 faces the upper end of the flushing rod 9 and the rotation regulator 7 stays at the space 10 between the two doors. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
