Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce accumulation of dust to a heating pipe of a thermal decomposition drum, and to reduce the maintenance of the thermal decomposition drum. SOLUTION: This thermal decomposition equipment of waste comprises the thermal decomposition drum 1 having a heating gas inlet housing 12 at one end of the drum body 9 disposed with the heating pipe 11 and a heating gas outlet housing 13 at the other end of the drum body 9, and a pyrolysis gas combustion furnace 4 for supplying flue gas generated by combustion of a part of pyrolysis gas G as heating gas G' to the heating gas inlet housing 12. The heating gas G' is made to flow from the heating gas inlet housing 12 into the heating pipe 11, the waste W in the drum body 9 is indirectly heated by the heating gas G' flowing in the heating pipe 11, and the waste is thermally decomposed to the pyrolysis gas G and pyrolysis residue D. The heating gas G' flowing into the heating gas inlet housing 12 is inverted in the heating gas inlet housing 12 by a partition plate 18 in the heating gas inlet housing 12, and dust D' in the heating gas G' is shaken off in the heating gas inlet housing 12.
