Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition containing a nonionic surfactant, sustainably generating foam at laundry, having excellent detergency, and especially providing excellent detergency and sense of fulfillment at the laundry even in the laundry such as the laundry using a drum-type washing machine and manual washing in which the formation of the foam gives psychological effects on a consumer. SOLUTION: The detergent composition comprises detergent particles [component (A)] containing the first anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant of 1-15 wt.%, and having 150-500 μm average particle diameter, ≥500 g/L bulk density and ≥80% solubility (at 10°C), and particles [component (B)] containing the second anionic surfactant of ≥50 wt.%, and having <80% solubility (at 10°C), regulated so that the ratio[(A)/(B)] of the average particle diameters of both components may be (1/5)-(1/1).
