Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding member for an optical connector capable of reliably holding the optical connector which allows an adhesive to lift out of a window part of a ferrule, on a prescribed position and to provide a microscope for observing optical connector end surface using the holding member for optical connector. SOLUTION: In the holding member for the optical connector 1, a sliding hole 2 to which an optical connector 4 made by bonding and fixing the top end part of the optical fiber to the ferrule having a window part for adhesive filling is attachably/detachably and slidably fitted is perforated in a member main body 1A. Therein, an opening 3 is disposed on an inner wall surface of the sliding hole facing the window part of the optical connector upon the adhesive filling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
