Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate discrimination of a boundary between piles of a plurality of copies of printed materials discharged in a simple structure. SOLUTION: When image data is input, data of a printing condition input together with the image data is compared with a discharge mode in the past forming of an image stored in a discharge history memory, and then it is determined whether or not it becomes possibly difficult to discriminate the boundary with respect to a paper sheet having the image formed in the past. It is determined that the image according to the input image data is to be printed on a paper sheet or to be stored in an image data memory (step S2). When it becomes possibly difficult to discriminate the boundary of the paper sheet with respect to one having the image formed in the past, the input image data is stored in the image data memory section (step S3).
