Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pumping device for pumping up liquid stored in a vessel by elevating or lowering a follow plate by an elevating device to measure amount of pumping accurately and inexpensively without receiving restrictions in property and flow rate of stored liquid using simple equipment and control a filling system and a dispensing system automatically. SOLUTION: This pumping device is provided with the disc-like follow plate 21 attached to the circumference of a suction port 2a at a lower end of a pump 2 to operate the pump 2 by inserting the follow plate 21 into the cylindrical vessel P opening its upper end while lowering it through the elevating device and pump liquid stored in the vessel P and transfer it. A wire winding device 11 for measuring descent distance of the follow plate 21 is attached to a pump 2 side together with a rotary encoder 12, and one end of a wire 11a is fixed to an upper end of a support column 31 by a ring 13 for fixation. The number of pulses from the rotary encoder 12 is inputted into PLC provided with a computing unit incorporating a timer for measuring descent time to calculate descent distance per unit time from descent distance and descent time and compute amount of pumping from opening area of the vessel P.
