Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test method capable of grasping effectively and accurately the dew-proofing performance of fittings by changing a temperature/humidity environment in a condition adapted to a regional property to thereby reproduce a more actual temperature/humidity condition. SOLUTION: In this dew-proofing performance test method of fittings, a fitting test body is built in the airtight state between an adjacent indoor side test chamber and an outdoor side test chamber, and the inside of each test chamber is set at a prescribed temperature at the test start time capable of reproducing a regional environment, and each temperature in the outdoor side test chamber and in the indoor side test chamber is lowered at a prescribed changing rate respectively in the state where a constant moisture content is maintained in the indoor side test chamber. The temperature at the test start time and the temperature at the test finish time in the outdoor side test chamber are set based on the mean value of day lowest outside air temperatures in the coldest month at a supposed area, and the temperature at the test start time and the temperature at the test finish time in the indoor side test chamber are set based on room temperature fluctuation in the night in the coldest month at the supposed area.
