Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the energy by collapsing a bumper reinforce 9 when a downward load is supported and a collision load is applied to a hook bracket 1 when the hook bracket 1 for tie-down is fixed to the bumper reinforce 9 formed of an aluminum alloy extrusion. SOLUTION: Holes 11, 12 in which a shaft 2 of a hook bracket is fitted are formed in a front wall 9a and a rear wall 9b of a bumper reinforce, the shaft is fitted in both holes from the rear side, and flanges 3-6 protruded from the right and left of the hook bracket are abutted on circumferential edges of the holes from the back side. A reinforcing plate 21 to obliquely connect a corner part upward of the front side of the bumper reinforce to the rear wall side is installed, and an extension part 21c on the rear side and an extension part 21e on the front side are fitted in the holes. The hook bracket and the reinforcing plate are welded to the front wall, and the hook bracket is welded to the rear wall. The welding strength of a weld 15 on the rear wall side is set to be as weak as to be preferentially broken in a collision. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
