Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extendable middle helical antenna with a long effective length as a whip antenna regardless of a short contained length in a wireless apparatus housing. SOLUTION: An antenna knob is formed at a tip of a whip element via a nonconductive joint, a mobile antenna part including a helical element in its inside is located at the tip of the whip element in the case of antenna extension so as to configure an antenna element with the electrically incorporated helical antenna and whip element. In the case of antenna contraction, the mobile antenna part is moved up to the antenna knob to separate the whip element from a feeding part and only the helical element is energized.
