Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner enabling a worker to safely perform a maintenance work while preventing increase in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: One end of a maintenance panel 2 is rotatably attached to a lower portion of a main body 1, and the other end is engagingly locked to the main body 1 by a releasable push latch 7. When the other end of the maintenance panel 2 is rotated to leave the main body 1, a linear motion damper 3 brakes the rotation of the maintenance panel 2.
