Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance/exit managing device which efficiently manages user personal information and entrance/exit information in a specific zone. SOLUTION: The entrance/exit managing device is formed of a card reader/writer 4 for reading card information inclusive of the user personal information from an IC card 3, a card information DB 641 for storing therein the read card information, a tag IDDB 642 for storing therein the card information of the card information DB 641 and a tag ID of a non-contact IC tag 2 held by the user in relation to each other, and a tag reader 30 for reading the tag ID stored in the non-contact IC tag held by each user. According to the entrance/exit managing device, a CPU 61 authenticates the read tag ID, based on the tag ID stored in the tag IDDB 642, and notifies the user of an authentication result. If the read tag ID is authenticated, the authenticated tag ID and entrance/exit information based on a reading result of the tag ID concerned are stored in the CPU in relation to each other.
