Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which a short-circuit defect is reduced by improving a structure of power generating elements constituted of a cathode and an anode of a flat type nonaqueous electrolyte solution primary cell while maintaining a high capacity design. SOLUTION: The cathode 1 arranged with a mixture layer 1b containing an active material on at least one side of a meshed metal current collector 1a, the anode 2 composed of a lithium foil, a separator 3, and an armor wrapping material in order to include the power generating elements consisting of these are to be the main constituting elements, wherein the cathode is folded in two, and the anode is arranged inside it via the separator, and furthermore, sites 6a, 6b not opposing to the anodes are installed on three outer peripheral edges except the folded part 4 of the cathode.
