Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a foam which has a high thickness precision, an adequate hardness and strength, an excellent wear resistance, an excellent smoothness of its kneaded material, does not get too fluid on heating (insensitive to temperature and no color mixing occurring in multi-color molding) and exhibits a good processability. SOLUTION: The composition for a foam contains 0.5-20 pts.wt. of (D) a foaming agent and 0.02-20 pts.wt. of (E) a crosslinking agent to 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of 10-90 wt.% of (A) 1,2-polybutadiene having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -50°C to -10°C, 90-10 wt.% of (B) a vinyl-cis-butadiene rubber (VCR) containing 1-25 wt.% of a boiling n-hexane insoluble and 99-75 wt.% of a boiling n-hexane soluble, 0-50 pts.wt. of (C) thermoplastic polymers other than components (A)-(B) [provided (A)+(B)+(C)=100 wt.%].
