Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for ejecting a fluid of an ink jet printer. SOLUTION: The printing method uses the fluid jet printer having a printhead having a fluid ejection surface facing a recording medium. The fluid ejection surface has at least one fluid ejector arranged thereon. The method includes: (a) moving at least one of the fluid ejector and the recording medium such that the recording medium moves relative to the fluid ejector along a fast scan direction at a velocity (Vm), and (b), when the movement is carried out, selectively ejecting fluid from the fluid ejector toward the recording medium. (i) A main droplet is formed to have a first velocity (Vd) in a first direction, and (ii) a satellite droplet is formed to have a second velocity (vs) in a second direction that forms an angle (θ) with respect to the first direction. θ substantially satisfies the equation, tanθ=vm[1/(vscosθ)-1/vd], wherein tan is a tangent function of the triangular method, and cos is a cosine function of the triangular method.
