Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent advantages of a nearly vertical conveyance path system from being less by eliminating trouble due to height bulkiness of a device when a postprocessing means such as a finisher and a mail box is mounted. SOLUTION: On one side of a device main body 4, a paper feed part 8 is provided below an image formation part 6 and a paper discharge part 10 is provided above it to form a sheet conveyance patch 12 which extends nearly perpendicularly. A relay unit 18 is mounted on the top surface of the device along (nearly in parallel to) the top surface 4a to link the finisher 16 and paper discharge part 10 mounted on one flank of the device main body 4.
