PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a perfluoroelastomer gel from which a cured perfluoroelastomer having improved heat resistance, sealing property and mechanical characteristics can be obtained. SOLUTION: This perfluoroelastomer gel has the following characteristics ; appearance : transparent gel-like solid, a water content: 10 to 90 wt.%, and a density: 1.1 to 2.1 g/cm3, and satisfies the following test: a gel dried in a 90°C drier to give a constant weight gives a curable perfluoroelastomer.
