Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle abnormality detecting device capable of reducing the cost. SOLUTION: This vehicle abnormality detecting device detects abnormality of an axle or a wheel of respective wheels based on a state amount of the respective wheels calculated from an output signal of a vehicle speed sensor provided on the respective wheels of the vehicle. Preferably, the vehicle abnormality detecting device calculates a reference state amount used for determining abnormality of the axle or the wheel of the respective wheels based on the state amount of the respective wheels in a predetermined time period, and the reference state amount and the state amount of the respective wheels are compared, and thereby it is determined whether the axle or the wheel of the respective wheels are abnormal or not.
