Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a uniform mature TFPI (tissue factor potency inhibitor) having authentic nature (right N-terminal amino acid sequence) and complete length. SOLUTION: A method for producing a VIIa/TF/Xa (VIIa factor/tissue factor/Xa) factor binding protein contains (a) a step to incubate a yeast cell transformed with a replicable cloned vehicle under a condition suitable for the production of the VIIa/TF/Xa factor binding protein, wherein the replicable cloned vehicle contains the 1st nucleotide sequence encoding the VIIa/TF/Xa factor binding protein and the VIIa/TF/Xa factor binding protein is retained in the yeast cell, (b) a step to prepare an insoluble fraction of the transformed yeast cell containing the VIIa/TF/Xa factor binding protein and (c) a step to separate the VIIa/TF/Xa factor binding protein from the insoluble fraction.
