Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper arm that allows an elastic means or the like to be stored and arranged between sidewalls even when a retainer part is set relatively short, and can reduce occurrence of a wind roar. SOLUTION: In the wiper arm 12, the retainer 16 has a plurality of vortex protrusions 23 at a tip edge of a sidewall 20 located on the downstream side of a relative air flow S flowing from the front side of the vehicle toward the window shield glass. Therefore, when the relative air flow S passes the tip edge of the sidewall 20 on the downstream side, a plurality of vortex flows occur on the downstream side (back side of the retainer 16) of the plurality of vortex protrusions 23. Thus, occurrence region (turbulent flow region) of the vortex flows at the back of the retainer 16 entirely becomes small, so that occurrence of large vortex flow at the back of the retainer 16 is suppressed as a whole, and the occurrence of the wind roar caused by the large vortex flow is reduced.
