Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet member attaching/detaching structure which allows anybody to exchange or disassemble handles etc., without using a tool, and to attach/detach a faucet, in order to provide a clean and flaw-free faucet at the time of exchange of residents. SOLUTION: The faucet is formed of valve shafts which are connectable to the respective handles and can adjust water quantity, and a spout to which a cock is attachable. Each valve shaft has an annular groove formed therein. Each handle has a mounting hole into which the valve shaft is axially inserted in a rotatable manner, and a claw portion for elastically engaging with the annular groove when the valve shaft is axially inserted into the mounting hole. In a similar faucet, the handle may be radially halved. In another similar faucet in which the valve shaft and the spout are arranged on the same plane of a faucet main body in the same direction, a cover for covering the faucet main body in a manner capable of exposing the valve shaft and the spout, may be provided. Further a faucet having both the above-mentioned detachable handles and the cover may be employed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
