Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling for a metal flexible pipe, capable of securely detecting a leakage caused by wrong nailing at inspection time and taking a nailing safety measure. SOLUTION: In this coupling having a coupling main body and a nut and for connecting the metal flexible pipe in which an external face of a metal corrugated pipe is coated with a synthetic resin layer, a passage through which gas passes and which communicates a gap for passing of gas between the metal corrugated pipe and the synthetic resin layer with outside of the coupling is provided in the coupling main body and/or the nut. The passage through which gas passes is closed by a selective permeation member for allowing permeation of gas but preventing permeation of solid and liquid, in the state where the gas permeability of the selective permeation member is adjusted.
