Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a saw blade and to reduce vibration and noise by reducing cutting impact force when the cutting impact force is generated to the saw blade in cutting a cut material. SOLUTION: In a sawing machine 1, the saw blade B is endlessly wound around a plurality of wheels rotatably supported to a saw blade housing 7, and at least one of the plurality of wheels is made a drive wheel 21 and rotationally driven by a saw blade drive unit 53 to allow the saw blade B to rotate and travel to thereby cut the cut material with the traveling and rotating saw blade B. The saw blade drive unit 53 is connected to a shaft 25 of the driving wheel 21, in a state of floating in the rotating direction of the saw blade with respect to the saw blade housing 7. Since the saw blade rotating direction of the saw blade drive unit 53 is regulated through a buffer part 71 provided at the saw blade housing 7, reaction force generated by driving the saw blade can be damped by the buffer part 71.
