Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize base station switching at a high speed when a terminal switches base stations. SOLUTION: The terminal 11 receives a frame from a base station 21, and transmits a reassociation request for a base station switching request to a base station 22 without returning an ACK (acknowledge character) to the base station 21 when a signal level of the received frame is not higher than a threshold. Since the terminal 11 does not return the ACK to the base station 21, the terminal 11 can transmit a reassociation request preferentially over frames transmitted by other devices. Consequently, the terminal 11 can transmit the reassociation request without being made to wait extra while the other devices transmit/receive a frame and without letting the reassociation request collide with another frame, the terminal can switch base stations at a high speed.
