Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for an internal combustion engine in which transverse air intake channels 12 are arranged between the intake channels upstream from the cylinder intakes of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine equipped with exhaust gas recirculation. SOLUTION: Connection parts 2, 3 for leading clean air into the intake channels and a connection flange 4 for leading re-circulated exhaust gas are integrated into a one-piece component 1, preferably made of cast aluminum.
