Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shredder capable of storing shredded paper and shredded matter other than paper without mixing them with each other and storing either the shredded paper or the shredded matter other than paper as much as possible when only either the shredded paper or the shredded matter other than paper is necessary to be shredded. SOLUTION: The shredder body 1 has a first shredding mechanism 10'to shred paper and a second shredding mechanism 10'' of the object matter other than paper built-in so that each built-in position is different. The shredder body 1 is provided with a position determination means 3 to position the auxiliary dust box in a main dust box 21 so that the discharging part of the shredded matter generated by shredding in the second shredding mechanism 10'' is located at the upper face opening 211 of an auxiliary dust box 21 and the discharging part of the shredded paper generated by shredding in the first shredding mechanism 10' is not located at the upper face opening 211 of an auxiliary dust box 21.
