Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a permanent magnet motor and a manufacturing method of the rotor which prevent breakage of the rotor by high-speed rotation. SOLUTION: A plurality of slots 14 are formed in a rotor core 13 in a circumferential direction. A permanent magnet 16 is inserted into the slots 14 applied with adhesive 15. The slots 14 are occuluded by superimposing an end plate 17 on the rotor core 13. The adhesive 15 existing at the underside in the slots 14 is dropped onto the topside of the slots 14 by reversing the top and bottom of the rotor. The rotor 1 of the permanent magnet motor is formed by thermosetting the adhesive 15 adhering almost to the entire permanent magnet 16 inserted into the slots 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
