Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the uncomfortableness by replacing blurred images of a fast moving object with a freeze image without showing the blurred images on a photograph image indicator such as view finder, LCD monitor, etc. when a quick pan or tilt action is taken during photographing by a video camera. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is composed of an imaging device 1 for photoelectric-converting an object optical image; an image processor circuit 4 for processing moving picture signals outputted from the imaging device into a high-quality image; an acceleration sensor 2 for detecting the acceleration of the imaging apparatus; an acting condition decider circuit 3 for deciding the acting condition of the imaging apparatus from its acceleration detection signal; an image switching circuit 5 for switching the moving picture signal outputted from the image processor circuit to a previously prepared image according to a control signal from the acting condition decider circuit; and a photographing image indicator 6 for indicating thus switched image signals.
