Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting treatment apparatus of organic sludge that can efficiently reduce quantity by a simple method, is safe, has low initial costs, and can adapt a melting treatment technique that has been utilized only for the treatment of a large amount of sludge until now to sewage sludge treatment in middle and small cities, towns, and villages. SOLUTION: A melting furnace body comprises a melting chamber at the bottom, a combustion space and a sludge slot at the upper part, and a means for supplying combustion gas and a means for supplying oxygen to the combustion space.
