Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize another camera, such as to enable a user of the other camera to utilize a function or performance that a present camera has, or to complement a function that the present camera does not have, with the other camera. SOLUTION: A camera system is comprised of a master unit A and a slave unit B which are digital cameras and connected by radio. The master unit A is a digital camera being higher functional than the slave unit B in a resolution, a storage capacity, and the like and also comprising a display section, and the slave unit B is a simplified digital camera being lower functional than the master unit A and comprising no display section or the like. An image photographed by the slave unit B is then transmitted to the master unit A and stored on a memory card of the master unit A so as to be printed by a printer C disposed in a convenience store or the like, or the image photographed by the slave unit B is transmitted to the master unit A to be displayed on the display section of the master unit A so as to be visible.
