Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled mower enabling the mowing to be equally carried out efficiently in any direction of advance and retreat to reduce labor and time required for the mowing. SOLUTION: The mower B has a frame 1. Front wheels 31 and rear wheels 41 as driven wheels, constituting a traveling means enabling the advance and the retreat are installed in the front and rear parts of the frame 1. Cutters 2 are parallelly installed in both sides in the traveling direction in the lower part of the frame 1. The cutters 2 are constituted so as to change the rotary direction by the change in the traveling direction of the traveling means. A handle 6 can be set in a required direction based on the traveling direction of the mower B. Covers 71 for introducing grass to the cutters 2 are installed in the front and rear parts of the frame 1.
