Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a simple and low cost cosmetic or beauty simulation system. SOLUTION: Means for acquiring shape information comprise a plurality of stereo image pickup cameras positioned to image a three-dimensional object to be imaged from different angles, and pattern projectors disposed for the cameras respectively. Means for acquiring color information comprise a color pickup camera positioned to image the three-dimensional object to be imaged from a position to observe shape imaging patterns. The patterns projected by the pattern projectors are projected by infrared light.
