PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating device for circulating refrigerant, to which an odorant having compatibility with the refrigerant and refrigerating machine oil and not reacting with a material of a refrigeration circuit and the refrigerating machine oil is added, in the refrigeration circuit. SOLUTION: This refrigerating device circulates the refrigerant, which is mainly composed of 1-4C hydrocarbon or combustible fluorinated hydrocarbon obtained by substituting part of hydrogen atoms of the hydrocarbon with fluorine atoms and which contains tetrahydrothiophene as the odorant, in the refrigeration circuit comprising a compressor, a radiator, an expanding mechanism and an evaporator.
