Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood capable of easily grasping a recovering state of oil by an oil pack and easily mounting and demounting the oil pack. SOLUTION: In this range hood comprising an air blower 3 mounted on an upper rear part in the hood 1, a glass filter 7 mounted at a lower part of the air blower 3, and an oil recovering container 8 for recovering the oil attached to the air blower 3 and the glass filter 7, the glass filter 7 is mounted on a position where the oil attached to the air blower 3 drops at its rear side, and a front side of the glass filter is inclined to be lower than the rear side to guide the dropped oil to a front part. The oil recovering container is detachably mounted at a lower front side of the hood 1 to recover the oil flowing out from the neighborhood of a front edge part of the glass filter 7 to a lower part.
