Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify, etc., operation to reduce the weight of sod, reduce the transportation cost, cut the sod and sod the lawn because there is no method for directly taking lawn stems of a necessary length from the lawn without sticking soil and the exchange of a blade is complicated as a result of cutting the soil with a sharp blade in cutting out the sod. SOLUTION: The weight of lawn stems is extremely reduced because the method is to shave off the lawn stems without sticking soil. In summer, the sod is collected for reducing the drying. Neither blade breakage nor blade stop is caused because no sharp blade is provided and the transportation cost is thereby reduced. The conventionally performed operation to cut the sod of heavy labor is eliminated and conventional hanging of lawn bundles for newly preparing the turf is eliminated. Thereby, the method is useful for reducing the operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
