PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that since a storage battery for vehicle equipped with a state detecting device is commonly made up so that its display device is formed integrally with a storage battery, operations of opening / closing a vehicle bonnet and detaching / attaching a shield cover of the storage battery are required to check the display device, that is to say, its convenience is not acceptable. SOLUTION: A system for displaying a state of the storage battery being mounted on a vehicle and supplying electric power through power supply lines, is equipped with a detecting means which is connected to positive and negative terminals of the storage battery and detects the state of the storage battery; a signal transmitting means which generates a data signal in accordance with results detected by the detecting means and transmits the data signal to the power supply lines; a receiving means which is connected to the power supply lines and receives the data signal transmitted through the power supply lines; and a display means which displays the detected results based on the data signal received by the receiving means.
