Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic pulse generator, restraining early performance deterioration of a wrench itself by restraining leakage of oil from a liner. SOLUTION: In this hydraulic pulse generator, an O-ring 80 is stored in a room 8 formed between the hole structural wall surface of a liner lower plate 3 and the outer surface of a main shaft 7, and the interior of a liner chamber 20 is sealingly partitioned into a high pressure chamber H and a low pressure chamber L only once during rotation of the liner 1. An oil passage 31 is provided to connect the interior of the room 8 with the liner chamber 20. When the interior of the linear chamber 20 is sealingly partitioned, the oil passage 31 is blocked up with the end face of a blade 5 or the main shaft 7, and during the time except when the interior of the liner chamber 20 is sealingly partitioned as described in the above, oil from the high pressure chamber H entering the room 8 through a tolerance gap G formed between the hole structural wall surface of the liner lower plate 3 and the outer surface of the main shaft 7 is returned to the liner chamber 20 side through the oil passage 31 provided in the liner lower plate 3.
