Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since position information has been inputted by using a planar space in a conventional technology, it is necessary to secure a space for working on a desk, and any method to easily realize three-dimensional space position information has not been established. SOLUTION: The three-dimensional space position information of a transmitting means 10 composed of an electromagnetic wave transmitting circuit 13, an ultrasonic wave transmitting circuit 15 and a trigger transmitting circuit 17 is specified from transmission/reception distance information to be acquired by using two transmitting means whose propagating speeds are different and position information and distance information to be acquired from a plurality of receiving means. An operator moves a transmitting means 10 to cooperatively move a cursor 40 to be displayed at a display device 30 such as a personal computer. Also, the transmitting means 10 is provided with a plurality of switches being trigger generating means to thereby realize an execution operation such as click or drag. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
