Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal plate used for a valve device such as a gate valve making a sealing member not rolling, shifting, slipping out easily, facilitating replacement and disposal of the sealing member and demonstrating high sealing performance without increasing use cost. SOLUTION: The seal plate 30 arranged on a valve element of the valve device and performing open and close action by abutting on and separating from a valve seat opposing the valve element is provided with a disk shape plate main body 32 covering opening of the valve seat surface, the sealing member 50 arranged in front surface opposing the valve seat surface of the plate main body 32 and including annular elastic sealing part 51 abutting on and separating from the valve seat surface, and a gripping plate 40 detachably fixed on a front surface of the plate main body 32 gripping a part of the sealing member 50 with the plate main body 32 on inside of a position where the elastic sealing part 51 abutting on and separating from the valve seat surface.
