Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member which is easily mounted, its manufacturing method, and an optical module using the optical member. SOLUTION: The optical member 100 is equipped with: a 1st prism 101 having a 1st surface 111 where a WDM filter 103 is formed, a 2nd surface 112 which is parallel with the 1st surface 111 and where a mirror 104 is formed, a 3rd surface 113 which is non-parallel with the 1st and the 2nd surfaces 111 and 112, and a 4th surface 114 parallel with the 3rd surface 113; and a 2nd prism 102 made of material having the same refractive index as the 1st prism 110, and having a 5th surface 115 bonded with the 1st surface 111 and a 6th surface 116 parallel with the 3rd surface 113. Light beams made incident on the 3rd surface 113 and having wavelength λ1 and λ2 are branched by the filter 103 and emitted from the 4th and the 6th surfaces 114 and 116.
